ROUND THIRTEEN
VS
JT's Line Up
The South Sydney Rabbitohs are pleased to announce their NRL and Toyota Cup sides to take on the New Zealand Warriors in round 13 of the 2008 season this
Friday 6 June at Mt Smart Stadium.
Head Coach Jason Taylor has named two debutants in his line up for this week, with centre Jamie Simpson and halfback Chris Sandow set to play their first NRL games against the Warriors. The two Queenslanders have earned a call up to the top grade after strong performances for the North Sydney Bears in the NSW Cup and the Rabbitohs Toyota Cup side respectively. Scott Geddes, Ben Lowe and John Tamanika have also been promoted from the undefeated North Sydney Bears team for this game.
Rabbitohs winger Nathan Merritt will play his 100th NRL game this Friday night, becoming the ninth player in the Rabbitohs squad to reach the century milestone.
First grade kicks off at 8pm NZ time (6pm Sydney time) with the Toyota Cup starting at 5:45pm NZ time (3:45pm Sydney time). The referee for the NRL fixture is Tony De Las Heras.
